The day before yesterday, a person was 19 and next year he will be 22. How is this possible?

Day before yesterday was December 30--he was 19
Yesterday was December 31--his birthday--he turns 20
Today is January 1--new year in which he will turn 21
next year after his birthday on 12/31 of this year on which he will turn 21 he will be 22.

Quite Warrior is correct. Leap year answers are wrong, they come once in 4 years, and 22-19=3.
As an alternate answer, the numbers 19 and 22 could be the weight of the person (a child) in kilograms.

He's obviously not born in a leap year coz' if he is he would still be 20 so I don't really know, sorry....
