Unfortunately the estimated gas mileage is just that, estimated by the manufacturer while using the car in a specific test area. No one can accurately answer your question because the answer is determined by your driving habits and the area in which you live.
Follow me with this. I recently returned from a trip to Eastern Tennessee to visit a friend. He drives the same year make and model SUV that I drive in New Jersey. His computer indicates his overall average gas mileage is 18.6 mpg. My overall average mileage is only 14.3 mpg. After thoroughly checking my vehicle to make sure it was running correctly I began to take notice of the type of driving we were doing.
He would leave home to go to town. He has a 20 min.drive on country roads with no traffic lights or stop signs at about 45 to 50 mph. I live in a high traffic area where there is a traffic light every 4 or 5 blocks and stop signs galore! When you are stopped with the engine running at a light, you are getting 0 mpg!
After comparing his type of driving and my type of driving I knew where my mileage had gone.
I hope that makes sense to you and helps you. The manufacturers mileage is accurate for that particular test course
but your mileage will vary depending on how and where you drive.
