there was no park or football pitches just wildlife ,ponds, woods and open spaces ,now theres not much wildlife and the only visiters are gangs of 12 to 16 year old kids getting plastered setting fires and threatening anybody who goes near them.whats gone wrong why are there no safe places for kids to play without having to spend a fortune anymore?

Excellent question. I remember when I was a kid (a hundred years ago), my mother would cut us loose in the neighborhood and she did not have to worry about us. Today, we are afraid to take our eyes off our kids (or grandkids). The only way to get back the safe neighborhoods is to be proactive. Find a spot, clean it up, call the cops if gangs of troublemakers show up. We need to take our lives back from the troublemakers. I know this is easier said than done, but with determination and perseverence, it can work. Drive them out - tell them to find another place to hang.

There are too many of us in the world. Especially places like Britain which is small and takes in so many people who like what they see of the lifestyle and then when they get there they can't wait to destroy it. Happens to every place that's good. Think of all the holiday destinations that used to be great till everybody found out about them.

Back in the "old days" the cops used to be able to "night stick" the bad boys, now nothing happens to them for their bad behavior, some communities have take back the parks by letting the gangs know they are not welcome.
