I am 33 and married. I love my husband but sometimes men really dont grow up until late 30's. I have a friend who is 15 years older than me and if I was to ever divorce he would be the one for me. Women are just more mature and need a man who can understand them. If you have things in common and enjoy each other go for it. It is your choice. If you worry about what people think or if it is wrong you could through the rest of your wondering "what if." All that matters is, if two people are attracted to each other give it chance. I believe every one has a soul mate and if you pass up opportunities you could be passing up something that could make you happy for the rest of your life. Go for it... and good luck!

Yes, if he wants too. I am 32 and I have dated a 50 yr old man. Its about the same. But he is in good health and after we ended our relationship we stayed in touch and to be honest we are still friends. I was scared of the way others would look at it but after I stopped seeing him I missed him and wanted him back. He is now with someone who is 45, and they are in love and If I could change anything I would have stayed with him.
They are what others call "Old School" they have manors, treat women like ladies, open doors, pay for dinner, pick them up for dates, and younger men split the cost, met you at the restaurant, and don't even bother opening doors or even try to make a lady feel even special.
In short, YES YES YES they should

Why not, love is great and the age difference shouldn't prevent two people being together ( two consenting adults) when it is love they feel for each other. It's not like shes 16 without the maturity to know what she is getting into-30 years old! I'm sure she is mature enough to know where her heart is

If you are in love I can't see why not. At 30 she would be a mature woman and know what she wants.
My Dad met his 2nd wife when he was 32 and she was 20. They are still together now, he is 60 and she 48.. if it is meant to be, it will be..

I am a woman. I am 30 yo and no, I would not date a guy who's a few years short my father's age. He should ask himself why she would date him... Financial comfort? Would he be happy with that?

Why ever not?? Besides the age gap as long as you enjoy each others company and are very happy that is the main thing. Risks in life are both taking I think.

It's ok unless it's your daughter, That's the way a lot of people see it. They're both adults, their choice.
My philosophy is = When you get too old to cut the mustard, you can always lick the jar.

Sure, why not?! If you're 55 and you care about what others will think about your date's age, forget about others. The LOVE is important, not "what others will say"...
