Unfortunately, tele-portation, which has been achieved in labs with 'OhMyGodyou're kidding me that's too small a particle to be useful' and at great expense, involves turning the matter in chamber A into energy, and then getting it to chamber B. Problem. The Hiroshima atomic bomb in WW2 was the result of turning about the mass of a golf-ball into pure energy. Energy and matter are the same thing, but matter is a super-concentrate of energy. E=mc2, as Albert found.
There is no real hope for a technology to turn a huge quanta of energy back into matter - the equipment would tend to be vapourised!

You missed travel by vacuum, as in a trip to the moon (or Mars next?). Also there will be travel through worm holes throughout the Universe once we understand it as simply as an apple. Stay away from black holes!

I like the idea of travelling in a different dimension: you could have both directions of traffic going along the same side of the road simultaneously, and there'd be no need for phased lights at junctions.

Dimensions is a good one previously mention,If we were able to change with our other selves from other dimensions mutual agreement of course,Id be the multimillionaire me for a while, but then I guess some of us would refuse to return to our own dimensions and our other selves would be pissed off and I have wasted time typing
But yes time is another, we keep thinking time is linear who knows perhaps we are going back but thinking we are going forward,

At the moment, the only answer I can think of is teleportation. However, that probably won't be possible until 2020 (Just a prediction. If it happens before, don't get mad at me...)

Another possible answer is underground travel, but that's dumb, so...

Mind traveling.
Sort of like they do in that movie I keep forgetting the name of, that one with Arnold Schwarzenegger, that takes place on the off world colonies of Blade Runner?

You stay at home and you can go anywhere you want to go!

Total Recall, that is the name of the movie!

Technically you left one out - empty space. You said "air" which of course does not exist in space yet we've traveled through it.
