windows vista is the latest version of windows but it's only got to the beta level.
it contains lots of drivers for almost any hardware and has a great interface

Windows Vista Beta version is the latest available version of windows. You can download it from the Microsoft website if you have Widows XP. The final version of Windows Vista is scheduled to come out in 2007. I have no info in the differences yet, but they should be included in the link I added.

the latest version available is windows XP, vista is the next to be released. As it has not been released yet, there are no definate changes from XP

Yes, but they say it's going to need more than 2 GigaByte of RAM memory as a minimum to run right. So apparently Windows operating systems continue to get more and more bloated with features. Maybe we could use a dual boot operating system where you operate in a small, fast browser only mode just for surfing.

Yes it is.
However it has not been released. It is currently in a Public BETA mode and although Microsoft has constantly changed the release date due to problems is the coding of the operating system, it should be out in 2007 fingers crossed!

it hasnt released yet (releasing in 2007). For now xp is latest.

It will be in the next 12 or so months, however you'll probably need to upgrade your system to use all the great features
