I hear voices, have fits of uncontrollable laughter for no apparent reason, am quite obsessive, have a rather hard time sleeping (it's random-I once went 5 days straight without sleep, then crashed and slept a fine eight hours), talk to myself frequently, and blurt out gibberish at random times and places, often as a response to questions. (my yahoo name is taken from such gibberish) I must note that I tend to confuse people.

Only a doctor can diagnose psychiatric disorder.

I saw your original question that you withdrew and rewrote. First and most important is that you realize that you are not "crazy". You may have a mental illness which is just another thing gone wrong as much as a person with diabetes or heart problems. The brain has biochemical disorders just as the rest of the body can have them.
By the description you are giving, especially the one of hearing voices, I would highly recommend seeing a doctor for help. Schizophrenia symptoms often begin around 18 years old in people and hearing voices is one manifestation.
There are medications that can help you if you indeed do need them. Make an appointment to see a doc or health clinic so that you can get help and live a normal life.

If you are hearing voices, then there is a good chance you may have Schizophrenia (please note, that this is not a medical diagnosis-just an opinion). If I were you I would definetly consider seeking out a professional pyschologist to help you. He/she can really determine what's up and give you the proper treatment for it. I hope this helps out, and just remember, there's all of us on yahoo if you want to talk about anything.

Perhaps if you try to solve the sleeping part then you might not feel as weird. I'd go to see a regular doctor first to determine if you may have any type of chemical imbalance and let him recommend another doctor if needed.

No, you were right the first time around, truly, CRAZY! Nah, just a peculiar kind of dude. Then again, if you think you need some help, you should seek help.

Yea, I confuse people too.
But, if your worried, you might want to contact a therapist or mental health clinic in your area.
