clostridium difficile. It causes violent diarrhea and has to be treated with either oral vancomycin or metronidazole. It happens when you take antibiotics which kill the healthy flora of the colon and the c dif takes over.
My nephew just had it, so bad. It was terrible. He lost about 20 pounds because he didn't want to tell anyone he was pooping his head off.

my son had it and was hopitalized, they did scopes and it is from too many antibiotics you have to take a good bacteria ask a pharmist he or she will tell you what a good bacteria pill is you must take it for 30 days.

if you come in contact with that person and they do not wash their hands and have put them in their mouth, touch you, is it still active in their body?
