If people could say how to stop it without just unselecting it in Msconfig or programs that allow u to stop startup programs. Also if anyone could direct me to options that would be great!

greenshirtocto - Not really sure what you are talking about, but if you mean buy something like McAfee then you must be joking. It is appalling along with others like Norton!

see what i am going to tell you is very easy but it is very risky OK.
1-> press start open run and type regedit
2-> Then click HKEY_CURRENT_USER
3-> Then click Software
4-> Then Click on Microsoft
5-> Then Click on Windows.
6-> Then Click on CurrentVersion
7-> Then Click on Run
Then Right hand side u will file the procress running in start up just select the application and press delete after that restart and it it done. But Be careful Dont delete anything El's.

uninstall it after you buy an antivirus software program from a store....not the best solution or only solution....something for you to think about

goto .. ."RUN"
write "msconfig"
then under startup menu ,
deselect the ez antivirus execution file ...
thats it !!

Why would you want to do that??
Anyway, MSCONFIG is your best way to proceed, like it or not.

you just go to task manager in windows and turn it off.
