If another intelligent life form lets its self be known to earth it will obviously be more intelligent than our own species.
Assume then that they have no conception of God or any religion , and think we are quite mad because some of us do !
Is it possible that God only made him self known to earth, are we 'the chosen people' selected to spread his word throughout the galaxy??
I think not, what do you think??
All stupid quotes from all the holy books ref' space invaders welcomed!!

If they are more intelligent than us,then why would they believe in something they have NEVER seen. Why would they believe something that as been written by human beings. Why does anybody believe in something that can't be proven. They would think that religious people, who believe in this Great God that is supposed to be so powerful he can do anything, are completely bonkers because,If this God is so powerful why does he let so many people on this Earth suffer in so many ways ????

Ok, this will sound alittle crazy but a few years ago in the uk there was a comedy series called Red Dwarf, it followed the escapades of a hapless bunch of space travellers, one episode involved them using a set of jump leads from their space ship to start "The Big Bang" thus creating all life. As time passed they started seeing images dipicting them as gods (creators).
My point is for all we know earth could be an experiment for higher forms of life, meaning the gods and creators people worship could be nothing more than little green men from another world.
It may seem a far fetched idea for some, yet we're expected to believe in the stories in "Holy Books" because the religious establishments of the world say so!
So tell me whose more crazy?

Well God did create man in his own image and likeness. Who knows Aliens may actually be our God. If you think of it this way in the Book of Revelations it is stated that a sign from the heavens would appear before man. What if it was talking about UFO's? What if the second coming is an Alien being? You see if you believe everything you read in the Bible or Alien folklore books you would probably came across the idea that Mary may have been abducted by an Alien species and impregnated to give birth to Jesus. Explains her virginity.

Any intelligent beings out there will have some concept of religion in their society. They like us will want to know where they come from. They will also be scared of death. Because like us they will have the concept of immortality but not the bodies to go with it. I personally believe that is why most people believe so strongly in their chosen faith. The need for an afterlife.

I fiind it hard to believe that a life form more intelligent than us would not have any concept of God,higher power or the like.I'm sure there is a more intelligent species out there who has a better understanding and knowledge of God than what people on this planet do.

Yes you said it

It would prove nothing, they would indeed think it their job to enlighten these 'poor souls' about God.
