If you want to improve India's economy, just look at Nehru's plan for improving India. Nehru was an inspiration to people all over the world when it comes to bringing India up as a huge power.

Nehru did amazing things by unifying India. He kicked the Portuguese out of Goa. He organized his country and gave Udder Pradesh, and the northern provinces enough autonomy that it included northern India instead of dividing the Sikh's and the Hindi's. He united India after the British left. He worked to give India independence in the same fashion that Gandhi did.

Look at the contributions of Nehru and Gandhi and you can follow their example to improve India's economy.

Before the British left, India was a much poorer economy than it is now. Between the time that Nehru became President and the time he died, he led India from being one of the poorest countries in the world to being an independent producer of it's own food. That is an awesome accomplishment when you think of how big India is, how populated it is and how much of a difference it made in such a short time.

Nehru and Gandhi are awesome people for India to be proud of. If I were going to join hands with anyone, I would hope that Nehru and Gandhi were there holding hands with me.
