Never, now that we know that being 300 pounds overweight is unhealthy, I think that it won't be trendy to be heavy. Plus, being at the right weight shows that you can take care of your body and that you are not a slob. A certain respect comes with that.

During the next Ice age, when you need the extra weight to stay warm. Just kidding. In some cultures it is trendy to be heavy, because it means you are healthy and have $$$ to eat.

Probably never because it's very unhealthy. It shouldn't be a trend to be too skinny either because that's unhealthy also.
