learn some scales and play by grouping notes like triads, arpeggios, or make your own pattern,
Make a pattern in one key and then make another in with other key and then blend them together

OK rookie learn more than one scale then just move your hands around playing the notes, but carefully this takes some kind of Imagination and creativity on your part. now make up something using the scale notes and chords you learned.
