Budweiser is the worst offender, by far. I can stomach bud light if I have to, but since spending some time in Belgium, it has been reduced to nothing more then a relic of my college years, when I would drink to get drunk and didn't care about taste. Now that I drink beer to enjoy it, I don't think I would ever willingly lay down a dollar for any american big-name brew.

I don't drink American beer... most taste like mule-piss and they are weak!
Now I live in Germany and I drink German and Belgian beer (the best) and I am spoiled! I don't know what I'll do when I return to the States!
BTW, My mom gave me a can of Goebles (sp) once... UGH!

Not really answering your question because I have not experienced American beer...but have you tried ones from the microbreweries...or better...can you get access to Canadian beers? I've heard that they're way better than American beers.

Miller LITE was Meisterbrau 'lite' before Miller Brewing bought it, re-packaged and re-marketed it under the LITE lable in the '70's.
