im half nigerian....yoruba tribe, and i wanna know how 2 learn the language...my dad died, so i dont know ANYTHING about that culture and stuff...think anyone out there an help? and NO im not a scammer, lol

The best thing to do is search websites. I am half nigerian, igbo tribe, and i never learned because my mom is american and my dad just never made an effort to teach us (that's seen as the mother's job.) A good site to start with is Motherland Nigeria; the site contains basic words from the three main nigerian languages, igbo, yoruba, and hausa. Also, if you still have contact with your father's side, tell them about your interest. They might make you a care package with english-yoruba dictionaries, grammar books, etc. to help you in your pursuit to know the other half of you. Good Luck!

Try Teach yourself books, anyway this might come as a shock, but did you know that Yoruba language of Nigeria, influenced the dialect of portuguese is brazil ? Hmm..interesting It is one of the african languages though.......
