shampoo her hair with a clarifier- to reduce buildup, condition with a thick, creamy type, try Tresseme or a deep conditioner for women of color. after following bottles directions and thorough rinsing, use a leave in conditioner and use a warm comb attachment blowdryer- to promote manageability. if no blowdryer, comb and brush the hair in a circular motion in order to wrap her hair so that it can air dry while laying flat. to tone down frizziness use Frizzeaze or a pomade on the hair. also, make sure her scalp is greased with a coconut or jojoba oil based grease.
by no means- unless this child is not a child- you should NOT perm or invade her hair follicles with chemicals- it may FALL OUT if you do.
