Copying .vob straight into your computer render them unplayable. All you get is gibberish pics and audio. The built-in CSS encryption prevent a straight copy to HDD.
The only way is to back them up with ShrinkDVD or other decryption software. Only then can u play on your PC.
ShrinkDVD as its name implies - shrink a 8gb movie down to 4.7gb. while bypassing the encryption.

To copy the vob files down, you'll need dvd decryptor software. Try your favorite search engine, but rememeber that what you're asking about may be illegal in some places.
