I'm with Sig on his answer Hes got the best one. and is so very true. You still have you Dad be blessed and enjoy him while u got him. I lost mine when I had my baby he never got to see her grow up So again you need to appreciate, respect, and do as told because he Loves you so much you can't imagine until you have your own. So sweetie remember he loves you and only wants the best for you and is just wanting to hold on for that much longer. he may be here today and gone tomorrow. Freedom is earned and granted when you become wise, old. and when you relise that you have taking things for granted and don't know when to wipe your own nose. No offese but please get a grip and smell your daddy. touch , have fun and love him instead of complaing like a two year old.

I used to feel the same way. As I got older and had more responsibility I discovered that freedom is earned. If you were smarter than your dad he would have to take orders from you but he has more responsibility and experience than you so he gets to tell you what to do.
I know this sounds like crap but it is the truth. When your maturity reaches a level of self responsibility you will earn your freedom, at least from your dad. But in life, unless your name is Bill Gates you will always have other people telling you what to do. Your level of maturity will determine how well you handle it.
Good luck.

I was raise the same way as you are, but years later, i looked back in life and realize they were my parents, as long as your living under thier roof. respect them! they won't be around for ever. I know its hard, but love them anyway. When you have kids someday, you will realize they were right.''Now, if your father ask you to do something to break the law, it will be a different story. ''But friend' what do you call freedom-I would really like to know? Take care......................

If you are of age than you have the right to your freedom. Talk to your old man and don't do things that you don't like to do. If your father is such a control freak than let him get a dog.

how old are you? if you're a minor, like me, then you know we don't get freedom. But i guess you could try talking to your dad, tell him how you would like a little more freedom, but don't push it, most parents will only allow a little bit of freedom and priveleges.

As long as you live under his roof and he is not asking you to do 'nasty' stuff you are stuck.
