You must have direct-x installed
If you do, go to your start menu and click run
type 'dxdiag' and hit enter
in the dialog box that shows up, go under video and see what graphics card is listed.
Then you can google for the drivers
If this doesnt work,
Right click on my computer and select properties
under hardware, select device manager
under video cards, look for the name and google for drivers
If that too doesnt work,
open up your cpu and look at the graphics card itself. It will definetely have the manufacturers name printed on it
then google for drivers
Peace.

Very simple. U click on Start, then click on RUN, then type "dxdiag" and press Enter. A window will popup with the details of ur computer. Select "Display" icon and u can see which graphic card is installed on ur computer. Also, u can go to Control panel and check the graphic card there.

The other obvious way is go Control Panel_Display Properties_Settings_Advanced_Adaptor.
Another way - open up your box - pull out your video card - have a peek at the brand name and chipset name.
For example, looking at one of my ancient video card - it says Matrox MGA-G100A-E on the chip. There we go! All the info you need to type in yahoo search.
Also you can download a System info software and suss out all the hardware u have in your box and provide all the details u need.
Examples:
Driver Detective
Hardwareinfo
freshdevice

A good place to start would be...
start>settings>control panel>system>hardware
locate what you are looking for and you should be able to update your driver within the properties of that component.
Good Luck!

OH MAN!!!! Tough one, I had the same problem and the only way that I solved it was by going into the BIOS of my computer and tell it to search for the driver...BUT DONT MESS IN YOUR BOIS IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!! Rather takie it in to a computer specialist.
