Well i was raised Christian church of god/baptist to be precise, My faith is just that the universe is grand and magnificent can it only be the result of random galactic **** ups or is it more reasonable that there must be a entity in charge of it all. God I believe is real, Mans many versions of a savior Jesus, Mohammad Vishnu, Bud-ah, and many others Organized religion I have some trouble with ultimately believing that any man or woman's translation will always tainted with their own beliefs and agendas. Hardcore religious fanatics will swear by the bible and its every sentence and quote parables etc. but all in all I think If you do nothing more than believe in god, and take the bible at face value as a historical text, and obey its edicts it is an excellent point of reference on how one should live life and treat their fellow mankind the bible is good and it does lead one in the direction of a better life. Long winded version concluded now the simple answer follow your heart and take your own wisdom and read the bible not skim it actually read it and then choose the great thing about Christianity is you may always be saved no matter how badly you sin that includes things like witchcraft. think it over

It's not OK. God is against witchcraft, it says so in the bible
Deuteronomy 18:10-12a There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire or that useth divination or an observer of times or an enchanter or a witch. Or a charmer or a consulter with familiar spirits or a wizard or a necromancer.
For all these things are an abomination unto the Lord

People may wonder why, if God exists, He doesn’t wave a magic wand and fix things, making or at least influencing everyone so that they do exactly what they ‘should’ do. But God never takes away anyone’s freedom of choice. God’s wisdom is to recognize and respect each soul’s individual identity, freedom and inherent goodness. God shares knowledge – a profound understanding of the dualities and dilemmas of love and hatred, happiness and sorrow, victory and defeat, etc. – but He does not make our choices for us. The soul is free to choose ‘to be or not to be’, ‘to love or not to love’. God’s love strengthens the soul’s will to free itself from the distresses caused by vices such as selfish desire, anger, fear, ego and attachment. God’s power helps the soul to recognize its highest potential and to aim for perfection by practising the art of simple living and high thinking. Such practice by a significant number of souls eventually brings about positive change in the whole of humanity.
When you learn to tune your mind in meditation to the mind of God, then whatever the situation, you always have a source of help and strength to draw upon – an infinite reservoir of power and virtues that is only a thought away

Witches don't have anything to do with God. So I'd say you're ok. You just like to learn new things. I think God will be ok with it.

people are all one, but religion and the way people practice is a personal thing. everyone's path is not the same and you shouldn't be disheartened by the intolerant anwsers you're bound to get to this question of yours.
