does turning a drug addict into a criminal get them the help they need and increasing the financial burden for them to support thier habbit by more burglery , theft ,prostitution , thus the need for more police? what a viscious circle.

I don't know...but I find them untrustworthy.I was at a sportsbar last night with my boyfriend and a cop came in with a "girlfriend". He was drinking a coke and his girlfriend was drinking a beer. I thought that odd. He was either cheating on his wife or he was taking advantage of the job. Anyway, I felt it was wrong for a cop to be in a bar....with a gf...

YES THEY DO! it helps them fill quotas. It encourages tax payers to pay even MORE taxes when they're caught which allows the cops to be paid more....
