Might want to get your spedometor checked before calling him a liar, maybe he was wrong but that doesn't mean he's crooked....maybe his radar caught another car but he thought it was yours. Why assume he's crooked because he's wrong? Why assume he's wrong when there is a chance (bad spedometer) he's not?

Some cops maybe crooked, NOT all cops are crooked. Netir maybe right about your cruise control/speedometer might need some adjustment or checkup. If you were real smart, you wouldn't have called him a liar to his face. You should have told him you were sorry and that your cruise control was showing 65 and think you may have a defect and may have to have it check. He would have given you a warning ticket.

I have to think most cops arene't crooked. They are out there doing a very difficult job day in, day out and not making a much money doing it. If you didn't do it, then fight it. I was told if I ever get pulled over for speeding I should ask for a certificate to see that their radar guns are calibrated. From what I was told, their radar guns have to be calibrated every 30 days, which they are very rarely done. If it's not calibrated, they can't issue a ticket, or at least you have a chance to fight the ticket.

If you don't admit to the speeding, then fight it in court. If the officer doesn't show up, your case is thrown out. Plus there are tons of specific things that have to occur for a radar acquired speeding ticket to make it all the way through the judicial process.
But quit making sweeping generalizations that make you seem ignorant and do something about your problem.

Perhaps if you weren't a jerk you would have gotten a warning. If someone mouths off to me they leave with a ticket period. Guess what radar guns don't lie. The ONLY chance is if there was another vehicle next to you or in the path of the path of the radar. Again he would have seen this and known it, he does this every day and knows how to operate it. Time to check your speedometer, especially if you have different size tires on your car than it is supposed to have.

First get your cruise control checked. Then fight it. But always be sickenly polite to them; they got the power. If this happened in a small town don't bother with fighting the ticket. I've seen too many speed traps growing up.

"Why are cops so crooked?" How about, "why don't grown *ss people act like grown *ss people?" Everybody hates us until something really f*cked up happens, and then we're heroes for a few months. You want to know why some misconstrue our demeanor for bad attitudes; its because we deal with cry baby people and their kids EVERY DAY who think that everyone is wrong except for them. No accountability...

If ure tires are not stock and are oversized, it will throw off your speedometer. When you are getting car jacked, a total stranger getting paid a few bucks will risk his life to save ure ***. Probably a cop
