I think this completely depends on the two people involved. For me, 31 was the right age for the following reasons. Up until then, I hadn't met the one person I could picture myself creating a life and growing old with. That person is out there for all of us, it just takes some of us a bit longer. I do tend to think that any marriage under the age of 25 for the average person may not be such a wise decision. The reasons for this are all the personal changes one goes through from 18 - 25. If I had married any of the men I was involved with during that time, I would be divorced by now. I have many friends who married younger, and most are not happy. They feel like they missed out on something, and are now searching for it in their 30's. The problem is, they have partners and children at home who are depending on them. If you're being pressured into marriage and have any doubts at all, please WAIT. A love that is meant to last a lifetime can certainly wait until you are ready to give all of yourself. Best of luck...

25 and up since many marriages before this age usually go sour.

I feel you should get married when you are ready. Getting your young adulthood out of the way is a good thing to be sure you don't settle down with the wrong person. You need to be ready to settle down because you want to, not because you feel lonely and marry the first guy you think makes you happy. You need to be sure that you know you are happy.

No right or wrong age, as long as you marry for the right reason.
