Anytime you go outside of your relationship to fulfill a need, be it physical or emotional (as in your case), there is something wrong with your relationship. Ask yourself why you are spending so much time talking with this other guy. Does he understand you better than your fiance? Are you really ready to commit to one man and give up your freedom? You have to make a decision now before this goes any further. Either you call off the engagement until you are positive you are ready for marriage, or you give up the friendship with this other guy and devote yourself entirely to your future marriage.

Easiest way to answer this is, How would you feel if your fiance had said/done some of the things you've said/done with this person over the phone? If you feel that he would thereby be cheating on you, then you're cheating on him.... if you'd be cool with it, then it's not cheating...

I don't think you cheated, but you do have to ask questions like this.
I am wondering why you spent time on the phone with this guy. Are you unhappy? I don't doubt that if you do not limit your interaction with men (who would be compatible) you may one day increase your activities, go for drinks and over time become desensitized to cheating...

Yes, it's called, an emotional affair and I destroyed the best marriage anyone could hope for because of that.

If you are chatting or talking with another man to try and make yourself feel better, than you need to take a look at what's missing in your current relationship.

Fix that or end it before you move on to your next.

well, that is a very particular area, you may have emotionally cheated, or if you fantasized about this other guy you cheated, if it was just talking and a close FRIENDSHIP then no, you are not cheating, but be careful, even if it starts as a friendship, it can end with so many regrets, so many things you might do, be careful

if you would not have the conversations that you are having with this other guy in front of your fiance. then maybe you need to rethink your engagement. but if you can talk to this guy with your fiance sitting next to you then you just got a good friend on the other end and maybe the three of you can hang out

It's called emotional cheating, and it could be classified as cheating..even if it isn't physically. Means you were looking elsewhere, and considering you are engaged..... time to do some soul searching! Good Luck

its not cheating...YET. but your in the danger zone. get out fast if you want things to last w/ your husband to be. stop talking to other peopel. but what you really should be asking is why do you feel the need to talk to other men when u have your fiance? are you really happy in the relationship or are you searching for something else?

TALKING ON THE PHONE IS NOT CHEATING, AND EVEN DATING SOMEONE ELSE IS NOT CHEATING UNLESS YOU ARE MARRIED. WHY SHOULD YOU LIMIT YOUR SELF TO ONE PERSON, ANYWAY? HOW ARE YOU GOING TO GET TO KNOW OTHER PEOPLE IF YOU CAN'T TALK TO THEM. DON'T EVER LET ANYONE TELL YOU WHO YOU CAN & CANNOT TALK TO! THIS IS AMERICA, AND NOT SOME THIRD WORLD COUNTRY!
