How do I let go of someone when I don't have closer?

In March of 2005 My boyfriend moved to Thailand and He told me he would come back for me and never did. I know it is over because basicaly nhe left me. But how do I except that when I don't have closer. There is so much things I need to say so I can let go. What should I do?

If you have a way of getting in touch with his parents, I would try to see if they could give you some contact information. If you have already tried contacting him or there is no way of contacting him, I would suggest writing a long letter. Pour out your heart and soul, telling him everything that you need/want to tell him just as thought he would be reading it. Then seal it up.

Now you have a few choices. You can tuck it away in a drawer, tear it up, burn it, or whatever you want to do about it. But by writing it all down, you've given yourself some closure. You've said the things that needed to be said.

I know it's hard, but be strong and keep your head held high.

Be kind to yourself............go out with your girl friends..........socialize with friends, nothing serious. Give yourself time to heal. You may need two months for every month with him. You might even seek counseling so you can talk it out and feel better. A similar situation happened to me in August 2004, I had seen him 6 months, was a love from college days; it took me until the end of 2005. Believe me you are better without someone like this.
