There were not such think like Mengele camps. Mengele just had people for his experiments by application to them. People for experiments were hold to reach the aim of investogator (so not necessarily were starving).
Both hold people without decision of the court. In a territory where are no laws in fact. WW2 lasted 4 years, many of concentration camp prisoners who survived passed less time in them than Guantanamo prisoners. And that was a time of exhausting war in these states. With limited food production.

1. In the Mengele laboratories, prisoners were starved if it served the purpose of the experiment. In Guantanamo, they choose to have hunger strikes.

2. In the Mengele labs, prisoners were used for experimentation.
In Guantanamo, they are given needed medical treatment.

3. The Mengele laboratories were shrouded in secrecy, in Guantanamo the inmates meet with representatives of the Red Cross, have lawyers and are the subject of press attention.

4. The Mengele labs had no respect for the inmates religion,
in Guantanamo care is taken to respect their Koran and insure their diet is not in violation of their religious beliefs.

5. The government that ran and sanctioned the Mengele experiments would not tolerate a question like this being asked, the government that runs Guantanamo does not silence those who express concern that any of the human rights of its detainees are being violated.

There's a US soldier that hasn't even been formally charged or accused of any wrongdoing and he is in shackles.

Why are you worrying about a bunch of suspected terrorists' "rights?"

Worry about our own first.
