Ehud Barak offered Yassir Arafat 98% of everything he ever said he wanted during the Oslo peace accords and he refused. During negotiation or arbitration, the opposing sides normally come to a conclusion somewhere in the middle of the 2 positions. Arafat and the Palestinians want one thing: to drive every last Jew into the Mediterranean Sea. They made it plain as day in Oslo. There could have been peace over a decade ago and it wasn't Israel who said no, my friend.

The problem with Israel is that it is a country founded on hatred of the hollocaust. Whenever we human begins are motivated by hatred, like, never again, we cannot last. The people of Israel are doing an outstanding job of maintaining their security, however, and we must admire there determination.
I have studied in Israel, and was appalled at the museum against the Nazi atrocities, that all children must tour that museum. So the country is more against something, than it is for something.
Bottom line, I did not experience that the country is for peace.

Israel made their area prosperous while the Palestinian chose to live in refugee camps. If they had chosen to make their area prosperous with as much energy as they had used in fighting their area would be prosperous too.
Lebanon uses to be a beautiful area then they chose to have a civil war. Both sides lost. The middle east isn't the only area that hates the other side having something more than wanting it for themselves. There was Yugoslavia, Watts, the list goes on and on.

I would call that a "loaded" question, my friend. Your question assumes Israel is the one stirring the pot, and it isn't. Terrorism is stirring the pot. Israel would not be doing what it is doing if terrorists weren't doing what they are doing. Suicide bombers have not stopped killing innocent Israeli's, so why would Israel not respond?
It is terrorism stirring the pot, and you are wrong!!!!!

do you even know whats going on? its a two way street, if Israel will say o.k peace then Palestine will want ever thing, all the land, and will take any means necessary to get it. for there to be peace Palestine should be willing to compromise (as well as Israel) but their government reclines to do that.

As long as they think that their God tells them to take it all and the Palestinians thinks that God says its for the Palestinians then the pot will be stirred. These guys just can't seem to create two peaceful states side by side. BTW the Jewish God and Allah is one in the same God Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I would say that Israel would choose peace if they thought it would do them any good.
