I help the poor.

When I'm capable, I try to relieve suffering in other people.

I love Jesus but do not think he was divine.

I do not believe in God.

I believe in peace and love my family.

Am I living a Christian life?

Hmm, I'm a little disappointed in all of the 'no' answers and the reasoning behind them. So, theoretically, if I lived a life identical to Jesus, I would not be living a Christian life?

>> What motivates you to live a good life? <<

I prefer being happy/content and I want to see those around me be happy/content. I have found that my actions have a direct impact on the people around me and my own happiness and contentment, so I try to make those actions positive.

All of what you do is a moot point in light of the fact that the Christian life has nothing to do with how good you are. A "Christian" is literally a "little Christ." Someone who is living the Christian life is someone who is living life like Christ did. Jesus said that all that He did was to please the Father (God). Since you do not believe in the Father, you cannot be living a life like Christ's, and so you are not living the Christian life.
Humanitarian aid and kind living do not constitute the Christian life. Pleasing the Father does. What pleases the Father is that we believe the Son. The Son said that whoever would believe on Him would not perish, but would have everlasting life. Will you believe Him and what He says?

Though you are doing many good works, you are not liviing a Christian life if you are not following Jesus, and believe in Him. Believing in Jesus means BELIEVING Him.

Phillipians 2: 5 - 8: Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross

One can conclude that Jesus was either a lunatic, a liar, or that He is, in fact, the LORD.
What will you conclude? See also John 1:1.

NO,
You are living a good and wonderful life and many blessings should be yours.

BUT, in order to live a christian life you must believe in God and Jesus..

Good works will NOT get you into heaven.

I wish you well and let me say thank you on behalf of the people you have helped and for the care and love you show your family..

God bless..{:-)

You say you do not believe in God. You do many of the things that God expects of good Christians (indeed, these are acts that most religions teach are good actions). Why do you do these things? On what basis do you feel compelled to do these good works for others? What motivates you to live a good life?

I assume you meant to ask if you are *leading* a Christian life. You are not. You cannot be a Christian unless you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins, and rose again three days later. That's not to say you are a horrible person, in fact you sound really nice, but you are certainly not Christian.

Peace!

No, A Christian believes that Jesus is the son of God, therefore, divine. So, if you do not believe he was divine, by definition, you would not be a Christian. Additionally, you do not believe in God, which is a core belief of Christians. If you are not a Christian, by definition, you could not be living a Christian life.

It sounds as if you are living life as a good neighbor and a good citizen. So you're probably living a good life.

But 'Christian' means a follower of Christ, so, no that wouldn't be a Christian life.

NO!!!!

Just because you do good things does not make you a christian because you don't believe in God.

It is a good thing that you like helping people and try to solve other peoples problems. Do you help other and your self as well?

Nope, Christian=you believe Jesus is your savior. But, IMHO being a good person is good enough. All religions teach this.

Hopefully EVERYONE will "leave" a Christian life!! Like all other religions, it is from the mind of man, and it contains LIES that man tells himself to feel better about being sub-human and stupid!!
