The issue of respect shouldn't be an issue... are you seeking respect through sex? If your not comfortable enough with your own sexuality at this point to feel good about sharing your virginity with your boyfriend, then wait. When you have sex for the first time, it should be a joyous experience for the both of you, not something that you worry about or dread. Give it time... there is no experation date on your virginity..lol Peace.

I don't think dry sex would have any thing to do with losing respect. I think if a guy loses respect for you because of any kind of sex, he never had any for you to begin with. sex is a gift from the other person, why would a gift make someone lose respect? to let someone that close to you would not instill a lack of respect. just because it doesn't obtain your objectives doesn't mean that respect was lost. there may be none to lose to begin with. that losing respect thing has been peddled by some women for years and years. just because the sex failed to obtain their objectives. they can shift the blame to the guy. "he lost respect" he never had any. the women lost their self respect maybe, thinking sex was a good trap.

I think he would lose more respect for you had you actually engaged in sex rather than dry humping. However, dry humping is a serious precursor to sex. In simpleton, you're basically being a tease. If you're not ready for sex, you're not ready for dry humping.
