I think that since they had been attacked AND they where in a VERY hostile place, did they do the right thing? Would they have been critisezed for not doing what they did IF all of the marines would have been killed? Is this just another of Murtha's Political bashings now that we see he has an alterior motive?

The problem here is that there is a lot of information being tossed around and not a whole lot of truth. It takes time to do a good thorough investigation and the news media hates to wait. There is also the problem of some Iraqis trying to pin crimes on the US military to make them look bad. The whole truth needs to be revealed before any judgments are made.

... who knows... the investigation is still on going.. it seems a little fishy from what I know so far, but I'm trying to keep an open mind until all the facts come out and the investigation is done...

Of course they are going to say they followed the rules of engagement, just as murtha will say they didn't... it's all conjecture at this point though...

Americans are terrorists and they are killing Musims and their war is against our religion. Haditha is just one case which has some proof, but actually this is happening everyday. What are you doing there with such a big army. Is this not for killing citizien?

I do not know the facts on this issue, but do not trust the media to report the complete truth. I have much more faith in the military to report the truth.

None of us will know until there is an official trial. It does seem a bit hard to understand why children were shot to death though.
