i have a bf, but he is 16 years older than me. now theres a guy at work hes the same age as me....should i go out with him and dump my bf at the moment?

What you are saying is you would rather have small brush then tall timbers. The stability but maybe predictability of the old school has worked its way past your heart and you want to try the young buck because he has more flash. So if you want the fast burning fuse(which I think you want, but don't want to seem like a shallow fickle woman)then go with the young buck. If you want a long burning wick that you can see by a long time, then stay as you are.

Well your boyfriend was still 16 years older than you before the guy at work who is your same age caught your eye. So what has changed? Also, age really doesn't have a whole lot to do with things, unless you are talking about people who are not of legal age. But in your case, it sounds like you want a reason to dump your boyfriend which means you must not care very much for him if you can dump him just like that for someone because they are your same age. Same age relationships don't guarantee happiness.

NEVER date a guy you work with. Believe me I know.
For 1 if the relationship doesn't work, your working situation may become very difficult becuase of drama/ gossip from others about what is going on between the two of you.
2) anytime you see him talk to another female you'll get jealous and want to kick his and her ***.
I just think lovin in the work place is a bad thing. Thats like the only thing I agree with in company's handbooks dating coworkers.

How old are you? If you are only twenty or something then a 20yo is more suitible than a 36yo. The bf was in high school when you were born. But seriously who do you want to be with is what is most important
