If he exists, YES, he would be the force behind all those incidents that endanger or kill the creation that he professes to love so much! I don't believe in God, so I wouldn't blame anything on him. God and nature don't concern me at all--it is man that scares me to death!

I just read some of the answers to this question, and my fear has only been re-enforced! The pathetic ignorance absolutely ASTOUNDS me! Not that I'm the most intelligent person around, but "as long as they happen to the Taliban and Al Queda"???! It makes me ashamed to be human!!!

Of course not. God is a God of love. But He did set certain
laws in motion when He created the universe. So when sin
gets very heavy, the earth just can't handle it and something
gives; like a Tsunami, or Hurricane. But when these things are
about to come, God always warns His people by His Spirit.
I Corinthians 13;8a, Love never fails.

He says he creates both good and evil and evil meaning calamity and natural disaster. You are probably wondering why a good God creates and causes bad things. Well If you are a five year old and you sit your son down and he has a splinter and you get a sharp pin and dig it out do you think that boy is going to understand why your doing that? Is there a greater good? You know you need to or it will lead to infection but he doesn't know that all he sees is pain and you ripping at his finger. That is how we are with God we cannot see the whole picture of why God does what he does.

Earthquakes, hurricanes, and tsunamis are all natural disasters. God isn't responsible for them which have occurred or are going to occur in the future.

Only when he has them kill the bad guys like the Taliban and the Al Qauda.

Otherwise, I guess he's just taking a nap when the tornado comes through Alabama and tears out the mobile homes out from under all the faithful God fearing, God loving Christians who live in them.

I believe that God is the make of heaven and earth. He knows everything that was and is to come. But, does that make him responsible? No. He is not responsible for mother nature's natural disasters. Could he stop them? ABSOLUTELY!

He made nature this way... is a natural process, and you should also notice that even with all destruction and death, the best part of the human nature, hidden most of the time, shows all its glory during those tragic moments... and miracles happen.
