having herpes is something that lowers your immunity,so you are more suseptible to anything..not aids in particular...and anyone who has something bad to say, my friend got herpes from her 1st boyfriend who cheated on her...it was a mistake-dont make people wear a scarlet letter!

Eh, when you have an STD you are more susceptible to other STDs just because of the fact that your immune system is constantly trying to fight a disease (in your case Herpes, which can't be cured). So while it might not be "easy" to get HIV you are certainly more likely to be able to contract HIV if you have unprotected sex...hope this helps!

Studies have shown that those with genital herpes are more at risk for HIV. This is because the herpes sores allow for easier transmission of HIV.
Always use condoms. Naturally, condoms will not protect you against all forms of STDs but it will minimize your risk of exposure to some STDs.

You should have got your partners tested for herpes before you jump in bed with them. Yes, it will be easy for you to catch HIV if your partners aren't test for HIV.

~~yes, especially if you have open sores~~
a little advise on condoms, they are not 100% effective, they can break, leak, fall off, and all of them have microscopic holes in them that are large enough for the HPV and HIV virus' to pass through...
