If you are asking "how many times do you scoop the box" - my answer is that I usually do this 3 times a day.
If you are asking "how often do you empty the entire contents of the box" - my answer is that I usually do that once a week (because I use the clumping litter so it stays fresher and drier longer). When I did not use the clumping litter, I changed the entire contents every 2 - 3 days.

I clean my litter box for my cat once a week when I am really busy, when I have time to remember to change it I empty it every three days. However, I have two cats that use mine when I am home, and when I am gone my cat just uses it. We also have 3 through out our house, that both use all the time. My cat is older and I have to watch to make sure that she actually uses it that is why I wait so long sometimes. Also my brothers cat has renal failer and goes very often...so we have been changing the litter boxes every 2-3 days. You also should see how much your cats uses it and what liter you use, that should tell you how often to change it.

We use Tidy Cats clumping litter. We have 5 Persians. I have 5 litter boxes in the house, and we sift the waste out 4 times a day.

I have 4 cats the boxes (three of them) are sccoped daily and the litter changed every 3 days. I tried the crystals and I think it would be great for a single cat home but it was not perfect for my cats.

I scoop my cats boxes twice daily.
I wash out the boxes with hot soapy water and bleach solution, Lysol them, and allow them to air dry before refilling once a week.

I scoop it out everyday, just to keep it clean. I change out the litter once a week or week and a half depending on how messy they were that week.

I made my husband clean it. We had 2 cats. He scooped daily and changed it every 3 days.

I have a littermaid which cleans it after every use. They are great. I just have to dump the tray once a week or so.
