I will choose Image Processing because it is a more interesting and complex problem. But of course, you got to have a research problem first, images to mine, and a good supervisor who can guide you throughout your final year project. Keep the research question small and detailed, and stick to it.

ah the same kids from high school who cheat here, go on to college and come back to cheat here :P

looks like the guy would never build bridges, just build a lot of electronics.. or maybe just MATLAB simulations of them. that too only if somebody on Yahoo answers help him. I think we are safe :)

Don't be so hard on a person. The sharing of ideas is the only way we get ahead in the complex world of enigineering. I'm not far enough along in my engineering studies to help though, sorry.

Why not go the whole hog and try to perfect a matter transfer beam. I saw it on star trek and they always seemed to have problems with it. Maybe that's why they always said "Beam me up Scotty".
