I have been researching this on the internet, but I don't know what to believe. Does the vatican really have 30 miles of shelves of information we cannot see? Was the Knights Templar for real. Did they eventually form the freemasons? Is the bible incomplete? I'm not coming to this question because of the davinci code or anything, I have always been curious about the churches sensorship. Are they really hiding things from us?

Time will tell... If there's any truth to the rumor of the 3rd letter of Fatima, then maybe the countdown is around the corner. More on this later.

But in answer to your follow up questions: Yes; yes; maybe; yes; and finally, a BIG YES!

There are huge vaults in several levels of undergound basement containing actual and original manuscripts, hermetically sealed to preserve their antiquities, that have been gathered eons ago --well, since they gained power as the Official State Religion of Rome, circa 325 AD or thereabouts. These vaults are called the 'Archives' of the Vatican.

The Knights Templar followed the victorious First Crusade and were sanctioned by the reigning King of France, under the auspices of the then pope, in early 12th century AD. Their military mission was to protect and provide safe passage to Christian pilgrims en route to Jerusalem and back home. They started out with humble beginnings and the original nine knights took vows of Chastity, Poverty and Obedience. Their rule of conduct was based on the Cistercian monks' manuals.

Their Order grew rapidly and gained favor with the pope who ordered all monarchies to support them and their cause. In the process they became very wealthy and started to build their temples [mostly round floor plans] along the route and in their travels. They are credited to have started retail banking as we know it today: deposit your gold/cash in one temple at home and withdraw it anywhere along the way to Jerusalem or back by presenting your receipt.

Two centuries later, the Order had gained so much substantial power that King Phillip and Pope Clement decided to have them all eliminated by execution on trumped up charges of heresy, spitting on the cross, homosexuality, sodomy, idolatry, etc. and were burned at stake. Their Grand Master at that time was Jacque de Molay, who cursed the King and the Pope to die with him while he sizzled at the stake. Within months, both the Pope and King died too.

Jacque de Molay is CREDITED to have founded the Freemasons... Fascinating stuff, isn't it??

Seek and you shall find.

Peace be with you!

It is doubtfull that we will ever know ALL that is contained in the Vatican. I don't think they are hiding anything, nor do I really think there is a lot of sensorship going on, but certainly there are things that they don't want out (like the testemony of Joan of Arc, for example. . . she tells what the Archangel Michael looked like - if we knew this, then we could deceive people - some call that sensorship, I don't)

Aside from the truth the Vatican also has original texts of the bible, the Torah, probably some Qoran (however it is spelled), and a little (possibly a lot) on every religion. Plus original manuscripts of music, art, history, poetry, you name it.

The Vatican is a protector of human achievement and has much more than anyone can say.

I have been to the Vatican, seen the library (not THE library from Dan Browns "Angels and Demons" but the open library), and walked through the halls that are open to the public. . . I was amazed at what was there - in public. I can only imagine what is below, in the vaults or in the rooms that I wasn't allowed to go to.

The Knights Templar were for real, but Freemasons are much older. The Knights Templar likely branched off from the Masons, not the other way around.

The Bible does not contain all books ever written, so of course it's incomplete. It's just a select set of religio-political books. What you should be asking, is who selected them, and why.

The Vatican has acknowledged a private library, but no-one outside the inner sanctum knows what's in it. I suspect they have copies (or originals) of the texts Christian lunatics destroyed just preceeeding the dark ages, such as portions of the Library of Alexandria. Unless they talk, we'll may never know.
