~ Do not panic! This is completely normal. It occurs when lips dry out due to wind or sun. It is known as "chapped lips." If you go into a pharmacy (aka "drug store" - the legal kind) or even a grociery store with a drug section (again the legal kind) you will find small cylidrical tubes of a special kind of creme called chap - stick. You may find this with lip sticks too on occasion. Purchase it and follow the directions by removing the cap and rubbing the creme onto your lips. It will help them heal, and may help to prevent your lips from chapping again.

Try to leave it alone, and let it heal...and while your trying to do that...keep some chapstick or vaseline on it...until it's better.
It may also mean that your dehydrated...when I get dehydrated, my lips get dry...so try to drink lots of water...if you think that's the case...and still use the chapstick or vaseline.
