Dont spray the grass,,what if the dog eats the grass which they sometimes do to settle an upset stomach. But if you can keep them away from it the rain will wash it later,,Id worry more about the dogs than the grass,,lol. Parvo virus is an airborn virus that is in the intestines. If the dogs truely have that they have a 50% chance of living thru it & if they beat it,,they will not get it again. It depends alot on you keeping them "with it" sometimes for a few days around the clock.Let them sleep but if they are looking starey eyed & out of it,,snap them out of it by sitting them up,,talking or playing with them. Its a virus that hits hard.Pedialyte works wonders for parvo,,it is sold in the baby section of the grocery store,,get regular flavor,,not fruity flavor.A generic brand is also good.It is a good idea to clean with bleach in the house & wash dogs bedding.Air out the house but keep the pups comfortable. One sure sign of Parvo virus is if the dog is dehydrated.Check this by lifting the scruff of the back of the neck,,does the skin "snap" back?If it doesnt,,its dehydrated.Give dogs alot of fluids. The vet can give fluids also under the skin with an iv.Good Luck to you in the fight for their lives if this is what it is.Also,,all pups need to be dewormed but if they havent been dewormed yet,,wait til they are well first.Take a "sample" of feses to the vet from 1 pet,,he can tell you if they have any kind of worm with a simple test,,this may be all your pups need,,the medicne is cheap enough.Droncit is a one time dewormer.DO NOT use store dewormer espeacially if the dog hasnt been tested by the vet as they may be sick from the parvo.Did the vet do a CBC (complete blood count)of the pups to know for sure?

Hon, it's Parvo, not Provo, that's a city in Utah, LOL.
Yes, spray your yard w/Clorox. Parvo is usually contracted from a bacterial based virus that gets stored in the ground & will continue to infect any pet you have until you get rid of it.
The Clorox can kill grass, however, you have to stop & think about what's most important to you, your puppy, or your lawn. If you don't get rid of the Parvo virus that's infected your ground, it will continue to keep infecting & possibly killing any new pets you introduce to your home. Also, grass seed is cheap LOL. It can always be reseeded & grow back.
The best, most quickest effective way to spray your lawn w/Clorox is to go to your local lawn & garden store, like Home Depot & buy the Miracle Grow, or Ortho Lawn Spray feeders that attatch to your hose. Set aside the lawn feed for later use, or if it's already premixed in the feeder, pour it out & clean the feeder. Pour your bleach (Clorox) into the feeder, hook it up to your hose & spray it on your lawn, in long, even sweeps, as though you were watering it by hand. This way your ground still gets the bleach it needs to kill the bacteria & the bleach isn't going on the grass as concentrated (it gets diluted w/the water being mixed & sprayed out from the feeder, but still does what you need it to) & will spare your grass a lot more.
Good luck!

Hopefully you took the pups to the vet. You will also have to clean your house from top to bottom, where ever the pups were.
I sold a dog and because the new owner never finished with the shots, the dog got parvo. They need their shots and fluid. I heard parvo is a virus, yes, but not from the mother. I heard it is caused from cat poop. Dogs have a habit of eating it, has something they like. Don't ask me what though. My female has had two litters, and the ones I had until sold never got it.
Yes clean up your yard and house. I have heard it can stick around for life, and the dogs will have to stay away from others for six months. The pups are more important then your yard. Grass will grow back, pups don't,

It will hurt the grass but at this point safety is more important than grass. Parvo is a virus not something passed down, that has got to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard from a vet. To the person told that I am am not calling you dumb just your vet. At any rate Parvo can live dormant for like 6-7 years and any dog that walks by your yard is going to get it and any of your friends who come over with dogs will get it as well as any new pets you get. Best to take care of it now. Get one of those sprayer things they sell for fertilizer and mix it very strongly in there. You should clean your house top to bottom with bleach as well to kill every last bit of this wretched disease off. Please do your part to stop it's spread.

White Rose has some great advise. I hope your pups make it. But I do have to ask has your pups had any shots before this. Pravo is easily provented if they get the vacs. for it.
And no it is not an airborne virus. Its in the ground. You could walk in someone's infected yard and pass it to unvac. dogs.

Lot's of people like having white grass, I guess it's sort of a fashion statement that screams, "Yes! I don't have to bathe my dog anymore!"
