See a doctor. You have classic signs of acid reflux...possibly GERD..and it can be serious. Stomach acid can actually eat the lining of your esophagus, among other things, and if you experience this often, it can effect other parts of your digestive tract, too. Go in before it gets any worse,ok? Good luck...From my heart to yours...........! : )

It sounds a lot like stress. It is a common symptom of dedicated people who work intensly at something with a deadline looming. You might try to lay off any music that pumps you up, stay away from energy drinks or caffeine products. Lower your sugar intake and eat some natural foods. Drinking more water can do a lot for flushing your system. I recommend taking a nice soothing hot bath with lavender oil or something that your are not allergic to. Also use something scented to fill the air, preferrably natural flowers but you could use scented candles or potpourri. If it is too acute right now and you don't feel well enough to follow my suggestions, then I highly recommend seeing a doctor immediately.

Because you're lying down while your food is digesting, the stomach acid is getting into your esophagus and causing irritation. Give yourself a little time to digest before you sleep.

Try regular hours for yourself from now on. Your body clock is used to a routine which you've changed drastically. If even after a few days of maintaining a regular routine, the problem persists, consult your doctor.

Since you've been studying for exams, I'm assuming that you've been stressing. I believe you're having an acid reflux attack. You really should go to the doctors to get some medication.

That sounds like acid reflux. Try an over-the counter acid blocker like Prilosec or Zantac before bed. If that helps, it's acid reflux, and you should see your doctor about it.
