Worship is the actual practice of religion - the rituals or prayers we use to openly praise or thank the Lord. The beginning of most Jewish parayers, for example, begins "Blessed Art Though, Lord Our God, King of the universe." I know of a Christian prayer that begins "Our father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name." The literal meani9ng of worship is evident in these words.

Of course, worship can be ritual as well as prayer. A Catholic who crosses himself (like Sammy Sosa when he hits a home run) demonstrates piety to god through the ritual. Chinese Buddhists worship their dead ancestors by putting food and decorations at an ancestral altar.

To me, I think it's taking a moment out of your time to think and be grateful of what you have.
