I'm 49 years old (and a guy) and I had my first kiss at that age. But it was fast and lips-only and just for fun. So if it's that kind of kiss -- just the next step after holding hands and being cute together -- I think it's okay.

But use your head. These days, everything's different. Depending on your friends and where you live, there are a lot of pressures to go further. Please go slower than you want to and take your time.

But either way, why ask us Yahoo folks about it? Talk to your mom or dad. They'd love to help you out. And it would only help you all feel closer.

PS. If the guy's a jerk and he's pressuring you, then the answer is a definite "no."

no i would wait. I know you get into peer persure cause alot of people are starting to have there first kiss and everything but don't get caught in that mess and everything. If you think you are ready then do it. If your not then follow your heart and don't, also if you dont think your ready and people are making fun of you then just igonre it. And just listen to your heart and don't worry about what other thinks. It dosn't matter what others think only what you think. I'm the same age and don't planning to have my first kiss to later on cause i want it to be the best first kiss in the whole world!!!

Well it's hard to accept the advice that others give. I mean there is so many people with so many questions and you know that life really open to all to live and learn. Now most people spend to much time living and not learning or you have those who are always trying to learn from their mistakes that they forget how to live. I would suggest to you that it would be safer to you as a you as you enter the most important years of your life, and potentially the most dangerous that you should avoid all physical contact with a boy right now, I mean you have your whole life in front of you to make those kinds of choices, try to concentrate on things like why do people do what they do and stuff. You can learn a lot from others you know.

I had my first kiss at 12 and i was completely ready. It all depends on maturity. Dont do it because pressure or because you feel like youre the only one who hasnt, because your not. Do it because youre ready and you like the other person.

Maybe you can still kiss your daddy now and again. He is the only man you can really trust to love you.

First learning how to spell when is the first step. And second, if you have to ask that question,,,In my eyes you aren't ready to kiss.
