Orpah is right.

No word in itself is bad... it's just the associations we make with it. You can have a word that sounds the same in different languages and has a different meaning in each language. So it's not the word that's intrinsically bad, it's what we make it mean.

Is ***** A Bad Word

No because of its connotation in the upcoming generation. ***** is a word used to describe a friend almost like homie. The word ****** though has a different meaning as it means a stupid ignorant person. I'm black and I live and breath around black people so I know if a friend calls me a ***** I'm not offended because they mean it in an endearing way whereas ****** is offensive.

It's a bad word because, over time, it became recognized as a derogatory term referring to the African-American race, possibly particularly because of its link to malicious usage during the years of slavery. It's a racial slur that separates the race from the rest of society by singling them out in a negative light. The word shows no respect for them as people.

In terms of etymology, it's just a perversion of "neger," which was a dialectical term from "négre," the French word for "black" and "*****," the Spanish word for "black."

***** is bad due to the reason why it was made,to insult african americans and it was not a black man who made it it was a white man who began to use the word negativly.
