A media frenzy! Blown WAY out of proportion. Bird flu has been reported and hyped to no end and has yet to materialize in the states. There are actually very few cases of humans contracting bird flu and those who do worked very closely with the infected birds and there has not been a single case of human to human transmission because bird flu can't be contracted in this way. It's all a bunch of hype!

I dunno if it's a sign of the times. I don't understand. I don't think it's a sign that there r any plagues coming but. But the bird Flu is quite scary specially as the disease has no evolved so it can be caught human to human.

It is 100% certain that a plague will wipe out the human race. however, the bird flu is probably not it. but all scientists know that there will be a killer disease that will kill everyone. many close calls. but this one will top them all. it happens all the time as well througout history.

no but the worst case scenario for this could be bad, however, the most basic way of keeping healthy is washing your hands often and covering your mouth when coughing/sneezing. There is a reason for manners, yet we seem to have forgotten their purpose.
