Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed unto the day of redemption.

I take much solace in this scripture that promises now that I belong to Jesus, I belong to him forever. I cannot be snatched out of his hand. The holy Spirit keeps me and will always keep me.
I have this nasty little habit of thinking I've done things wrong when I have not. A kind of "Thats it! Thats enough! You're outta here!" attitude I have about myself.
But I remember this scripture in the Bible and I shake off the whispers of the accuser. Of course, I have a talk with God about it. He lets me know for sure if it is the accuser or of I have indeed grieved the Holy Spirit. A time or two in ignorance.
As the scriptures also say in Romans 8:33,34 basically that God justifies the accused and it is Christ who makes intercession for us.
OH!!!!, WHY'D YOU MAKE THIS QUESTION SO HARD????
:) love them all

Book: Ecclesiastes

Chapter: Psalms Chapter 1
1 Blessed is the man who doesn't walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers;

2 but his delight is in Yahweh's law. On his law he meditates day and night.

3 He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper.

4 The wicked are not so, but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.

5 Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6 For Yahweh knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked shall perish.

Verse: Matthew 16:25
"So what if you gain the whole world, but lose your own soul"

Phillipians 4:47 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again, rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. THE LORD IS NEAR! Do not be anxious in anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God, and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

I love these verses for a couple reasons: 1, I like (obviously) the part that says the Lord is near -- I take great comfort in that; 2, I have a tendency sometimes to worry about things, and when I remember to give everything over to God, He takes better care of me than I ever could. \o/

Psalm 103 because it says that God "remembers HOW we are made". That says to me that as individuals and humans, we have our strengths and our weaknesses. Our Creator understands the motivation for our actions before we even act. Some of us have hot tempers, some are tempted in areas that others are not even tempted. If we "fail" then we can know that at least God knows where we were "coming from" when we failed and He is predisposed to forgive us if we ask for forgiveness.
