Had a great time at the pub last night...the bartender gave me his # and said we should go out some time. Is it too soon to call him? I've heard 3 days but that seems like a long time...my girl friends are telling me to wait, or not to call him at all and just go back to the pub next weekend and see if he talks to me again. But I'm not into head games...though I don't want to "freak him out" if I call too soon.

Just to add some background: i am not inexperienced. Haha...that one made me laugh. I'm certainly old enough to know how to conduct myself in the company of men. A friend of mine owns the pub and I asked him what he thought, he totally vouched for his bartender.

Quit following the "RULES" who's the expert you or some handbook of rules that everyone goes by? If you like the guy call him if not then don't call him...If I were him and I gave you my number and you called me weeks or months later I wouldn't bother to pick up because if it took you that long to call that means you were not interested...Get what I'm saying....Make your own rules!!

There is no right answer. I have had women that when I called three days later decided no they don't want to go out because if I was truly interested in them I would call sooner. I have had some say that I called the next day or 2 days later and say no, I get a bad vibe like you are in some kind of a rush. The only thing you can do is role the dice and hope for the best outcome.

Hey Darling
If a Girl called me soon, I would be flattered and and be more intested in responding to that Gal! I like it when a gal shows like She's not playing aroud! but maybe all men are not like me. If the man your speaking about isn't a real playboy, and doesn't do much dating, he will be very happy to hear from you. If he's a playboy has has a lot of Girls on him, he may respond to you if you call quickly. You wouldnt want a playboy anyway would you?

Well..... my advice is "be aware". you seem an inexperienced girl. which is OK. but bartenders do tend to give their numbers to few women everyday. so my advice is if you'r looking for a relationship not just a one night stand, dont call him at all.
because thats all it is.
We guys do sweet talk to only get you drunk and get you into our pants, or "hotel rooms" and then ..... we never call you back.

Bartenders meet hundreds of girls a night. If you're interested, you better call him quick before he forgets all about you in a fog of new women.
But don't forget to keep it light; he sure will.

If you call him, call to make a date. Don't call to chat.
