The true religion is the Christianity becase Jesus, after other saints and prophets was the end and the beginig of the most strongly and transformed religion. With Jesus always the glory will be with you man, the victory and the perfect connection with God and His Holy Spirit, there are not other religion that can be more than the Christianity, for some reason is the most strong religion in all world, everybody wants create many things with her, but the real Christianity is possible only inside the hearts, this is the real difference, not buildings, nothing, only inside and in the most deep part in our hearts.

This is a much deeper question which would require a lot more study than can be described here... but if you look at historical sites (being discovered all the time, like the recent finding of the Pool of Siloam) that were previously known to just be written in "religious" books, other history confirmed by written religious books, science, etc. you would certainly have to say it is either Christianity or Judaism. Others are all to filled with myth and legend without any historical backing or confirmation of any of their stories. Whether you accept the "God" part again takes much more than we could get in to here (but I think if you actually look around you, logic tells us that there certainly is a God... it goes further than irreducible complexity, but this site will give you some good material.. careful, it's heavy scientific reading and it's easy to get lost in this large site http://creationsafaris.com/crev200606.htm )
But if and when you accept that there is most certainly a God, I believe that looking at historical accuracy, etc. You would have to agree that either the Jews or Christians are right... get that far, then you've got a lot more work to do to decide which is right...

Do you mean the real God of the Bible?
If that is what you meant..then..
When we see the Bible now..Old and New Testament..We find the true Church still exist (Matthew 16:18) because Jesus says so. After Jesus died and rose the Apostles carried out what they were meant to do because Jesus picked them to feed the sheep (people). (Acts 2:1) The Apostles preached and baptized people, so then the Church was made. There are so many Churches now because preaching what they think is the truth (Word). Satan has deceived the whole world, says so in the book of revelations. To find the true God you have to read the Bible.

The "true religion" is the one that gives you the most peace and fulfillment. Go with your heart. It will tell you if something is right for you or not.

The one that can demonstrate, at a moment's notice, any of its claims of the supernatural.
The most obvious example is christianity. Can a christian or his "god", right this minute, revive a three day old decapitated corpse? If not, then christianity is a false religion.

A religion that is based on God's word, and His promise to us all.
John 3:16-18 -
16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18) He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

The Christianity of the New Testament.
I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html ).
Cordially,
John

religion is man made. it is far from pure. I hate it. The only thing I do religiously is watch the O.C. And I'm not gay. I just am hooked on it.
