Hey NYman. To answer your other question, since there is no way to message you, I grew up in the northern Detroit suburb of Shelby Township/Utica area in Macomb County Went to school at Oakland University and then on to Central Michigan University. Have worked in the Ferndale/Madison Heights area and the Mount Clemens area. Besides Shelby and Mount Pleasant, lived in the Mount Clemens area for awhile then bought a house up in Marysville (the smaller town/city just south of Port Huron on the St. Clair River) @5 years ago. Have had a few jobs but lots of variety (I'm 36), ranging from bindery/general shop to courier to various office experience(s)-mostly printing related. Know most of the state pretty well and the metro-area in particular although the courier job never took me as far as Wayne/Westland (probably the Taylor/Romulus area would be about the closest). I definitely wouldn't move to LA because the whole state is going to fall into the Pacific Ocean, the traffic is always awful, smog, gangs, drugs, high cost of living, etc.,etc.-am I steroetyping the area well enough for you? Never actually ever been to California (Nevada being the closest state but I have been to about 1/2 of them, give or take, to places in Mexico, Costa Rica, and a few European countries) but that is what I know about it from the news reports; sounds like a dangerous, terrible place and I don't know why anyone would want to live there. Man am I laughing to myself as I type this. Have a good day-porthuronbilliam

Well I was born in LA and never lived there until recently. I lived in the midwest for a long time then on the east coast and then I moved near LA. I was glad I did and then moved to Japan.

How bout if I moved from Cali to the midwest? The pros is I feel less insecure about my body, and cons is I start to miss the beach. If you really love the place you are from you do miss it. I am in the midwest and i miss the westcoast.
