me and my friend are having a sleepover. we got bored so we are trying to style are hair in different ways. brilliantly we decided we wanntwd are hair curly, we have straight hair. we decided we wantd not realy curliy hair but wavy. does anyone know how to get sort of curly hair, but it looks wet ant shine but its dry. we have tried i scoop of mouse 1 scoop of gel and 1 scoop of hairspary but its not working, how do we get that style i really want to know?
p.s. my friends calls it "ghetto hair", sorry idon't know she thinks it'll help to know what we are talking about.

Try blow drying it after the gel and everything, but while you dry it crunch it in your hands.

Okay...ummm. How about this:
Wash your hair. While it's still wet, work LOTS of product like Bed Head or other into your hair. Take sections up about an inch around. Wind them around a long strip of cloth...round and round, and then tie the two ends together...here...like this:

Sleep on them overnight. Test for dryness, and then take one out to check. When it's dry, take them all out and run your fingers through just enough to release them and mussy it up some.
TIP: The more you wind the hair, the more curly your hair will be. Since you only want wave, wind the hair loosely.
TIP: Choose a Bed Head product that looks wet.

My mum is hairdresser and if you have really straight hair it can be hard to make it curly unless you get it permed.
I would suggest trying it with wet hair (but not too wet), put your head upside down and put heaps of mousse in it and scrunch it until its almost dry!!!
Hope this helps, but i'm not 100% sure it will as i have curly hair already!!!

lol..my hair is naturally wavy like that. The only way to make your hair like that if you guys have straight hair is with hot plates - like a flat iron but they have waves in them to make your hair look wavey. Since this is a sleep over, ans im sure you guys dont have that, use gel, scrunch you hair up and blow dry while scruching. thats as close as you'll get

There are special shampoos that will make your hair curly. Check the drugstore. You can also make old fashioned pin curls with bobby pins. Ask your mom how to do it. None of these things will hurt your hair and they are temporary.

getto hair? like from the south side ? im from the south u just take a show and wait 1 min or less then put alot of mosse but your hair cant be dried ? GOOD LUCK

to change the oily look try dusting roots wit baby powder , to give moisture to roote make a hair mask use egg yolk and hunny, if you have avacado its relly goood, if not just use some baby oil

well tha only thing i can thihnk of is puttin ur hair in braids and in like a hour take them out and it will be wavy and u get ur hair shiny i would say take like detangler and spray a lil in ur hair it always works 4 me

keep ur hair the way it is, your hair is beautiful the way it is. trust me, i have really curly hair and i straighten it to much and now it is almost straight. keep it the way it is.
