HK Cantonese:
good morning, ladies and gentlemen - "kwok wai cho sun" or simply "cho sun"

Normally, we (I am from HK) simply say "Hi", "Hello" or "Cho Sun" in the morning. We rarely say good evening, but again, we say "Hi" instead. Notice that spoken Cantonese is way different from spoken Mandarin.

Usually Hong Kong individuals have a tendency to opt for to be known as Hong Kongers. Foreigners have a tendency to consult them as Hong Kongese so much in the way in which man or woman from China and Taiwan are noted. (Chinese, Taiwanese.) The exception is longer term expats, specifically the ones from the UK, like to consult them as Hong Kongers.
