Crunches. I know that it is not fun to exercise, but it is worth it. I personally found the only exercise that works is crunches. Start like this. The first day, do as many as you possibly can, but don't hurt yourself. If you don't exercise very often, your total will be somewhere between 20-40. After the first day, you will know how many you can do. Let's say you did 25, continue to do 25 crunches for the whole week. Next week, do 50 for the whole week. If you can't do 50, no big deal, just do 40 or whatever is best for you. Gradually increase the amount and in a few months you will be amazed at how much weight you lost. Good luck and God Bless.

take a few moments and look at your eating habits. If you find that you are replacing feelings with food, then you need to distract yourself with something else. Tell yourself "I am mad so I will jump rope for five minutes or dance to my favorite song"

If you find that you are just eating because there is nothing else to do, if you find yourself spacing out/you dont realize that you are eating, then you have an overeating problem. There are support groups that can help you stop your addiction to food.

If you identify the reason it isnt working, then you can fix it. Remember that physical activity is important, too. Cardio doesnt start working until after 20 mins. Also try to keep moving all day. Drink a lot of water.

good luck!

You will here this many times and it is true. If you want to lose weight you have to exercise. I have been struggling with being overweight for many year and I finally started to exercise. I have lost 40 pounds in 5 months.

Try a low carb diet, not too low, and it may help to lose weight.

Stick with the exercise and you will find in a short time you will enjoy it ,and if you skip a day you will miss doing it.

There is only one simple answer, and that is to eat less and exercise more.
When you eat, you are putting calories into the body. The body needs those calories, to keep the body healthy. But if you put in more calories than you burn up with work, and movements, then those calories turn into fat.
Check with your school nurse to see if they know of a nutritionist. You need a good sensible diet and a good exercises program, to keep your body in shape.

I don't mean to be a jerk, but here are 2 very simple things you can do to lose weight:

1. stop eating fast food (or at least cut back to only once a week)
2. drink water instead of pop (or at the very least, switch to diet pop)

and that's it. You'll actually be surprised at the amount of weight you can lose at first if you follow these two suggestions.

Good luck!

Exercise and dont eat fatty foods and eat a light lunch or even breakfast. But be sure that you dont stop eating or become anorexic or something that would be bad...Try eating healthy foods for lunch breakfast and dinner..NEVER SKIP A MEAL esp when your 16 because your still growing.....Also, try not to watch tv or go on the computer too much.

What kind of obesity surgery-bypass or lapband depends on your pre-morbid conditions and mainly the BMI.Obesity Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges obesity surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as obesity surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your obesity surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
